Final Year Examninations (:

Most of you would have noticed that there is a new widget in my blog. The 'Final Year Examinations'(F.Y.E) Counter! (:

Only 32 days to go to SJI's Secondary One F.Y.E., so you guys won't be seeing me online as often as I used to be. (: HA HA. First up on my revision list would be, History! History is by far my most favourite subject of all in Secondary One so I decided to start with it. I'm currently studying the Rendel Constitution of Singapore, created in the 1955s to give the local population more power to determine who should be the government but the British, or the Colonial Administration, still had more power over internal affairs so, tough luck! (: HEE :D

"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
George Santayana

I know that I must be boring you with my rather, historical post but I can't help it! It's my favourite subject, isn't it? HAHA. Okay, if you are really getting bored, I shall talk about YOG (Youth Olympic Games). Time flies rather quickly. In such a short span of the time the YOG is already over, now with the foreign athletes going back to their homeland, I am glad that I made some new friends there. I just want to get their emails so that I can keep in contact with them. Though conversing with English would be a little tough, my 'little expertise' in some French should do the trick sometimes. HAHA.

Canoeing Contact Time (CCT) is next Monday, 30th of August. I can't wait! (: I can finally make my friends capsize but I hope they don't put us through the idiotic One-star Kayaking course again. (: I just want to have fun! (: Rather disappointing that our form tutor won't be joining us ):. Sad. ):

That's all I have to say (: Enjoy the last few months on school guys! (: Work and study hard for the Final-Year Examinations (: Jiayou!

Regards,
Hubert Yeo !(:

I'm bored, so I'll just post (: RESULTS ):

Hey guys! Decided to post because I was UBER bored. ): LOL. Teacher said that they had more or less finished marking the paper and they say the results were rather depressing. I'm so WORRIED ):

Going for YOG duties tomorrow again (: Since I have no exams to revise for anymore, I'll bring my magazine, storybook and and few other things to do. (: HEE :D I still must keep in mind that FYE are coming up, I still must revise! I must try to improve and do well for my essays, both English and Chinese, though I dare say that I'm still weaker in chinese ): . 应用文is the main killer, followed by 作文。公函,私函。ARGHHHH。 LOL。
Perfect practice makes perfect, I'll keep that in mind.

One more thing. Had English situational writing exam today, informal letter. The topic is about our English TIC-BOT alternative assessment. (: The writing went smoothly although I did insert some contractions here and there, though my teacher repeated himself over and over again, not to use contractions. XP I wonder why we shouldn't. I've read before in books that by using contractions, it'll help you reduce the level of formality you are at, thus, improving you overall language marks. I shall ask him on Tuesday, as that is the day that I will be seeing him, after today. (: YOG tomorrow, not ever sure whether I can attend the Social Meeting Conference on Saturday. The Archdiocese of Singapore is coming to school and I am supposed to help out! The thing that bothers me is that Mr. Ang is going through what we are supposed to do tomorrow but, I will be at YOG. ): ): Nevermind. I'll SMS him later to ask about the briefing. (: I hope someone will explain it to me. (: HAHA

Missing school on Monday too. Reason? YOG. Tuesday is a normal school day. Wednesday, Thursday would be my last and final YOG duty date before it completely stops. (: I wonder how happy I will be when it stops. (: HAHA. The last and final thing that is making me jittery and my skin crawl is the final year exams. I keep asking myself, "What if I fail?", 'What if the paper is too hard and I am not able to answer a large number of the questions?". But, I learnt to have faith and trust in both God and myself, that I am able to do this, to conquer the final year examinations to the best of my ability, knowing that I have did my best. (:

That's it (:

Post again someother time (: What you guys can do is to tag! (:
HAHA :D

YOG updates (:

Hey guys! Just came back from YOG today (: We had only had half a day's worth of duties because of the opening ceremony today (:. LOL :D We basically sat at the bag-drop tent area and helped athletes deposit their bags into the bag drop area. (:

I was studying my 实用文与作文书 and revising for Literature while sitting there (: The rest of my friends were either playing or reading a book :D @Wei Quan LOL. My friends and I were getting autographs from the athletes and even the coaches LOL (: Exiting experience (:. HEE :D

My next duty will be on this coming Tuesday and it'll be competition period! Gosh. Media will be there and I don't want to appear on TV. ): The identification card states that "By using this card, I agree to be filmed, televised, photographed, identified and otherwise recorded during the Youth Olympic Games..." WTH. LOL. anything. (:

HAHA Short post I know. (: That's all I can say. Oh, and one more thing. Physics and Literature test coming up this week. Physics is on Monday and Literature will be on Wednesday (: HAHA Enjoy your weekend guys! (: Byeee (: LOL.

Short and sweet

Hey guys ! :D I know I ahven't posted like, for one month :D HEE :D I'm so sorry! I have common tests this term and I can almost say that I am going to fail my math. ): ): I'm almost positively sure that failing math is inevitable. I was careless. D: I am going to work hard for E.O.Y. and I'm sure the rest will do the same :D Work hard guys! All of you must do well for End-of-Year examinations.

Stupid YOG. YOG is interfering with my studies D: I have to miss lessons on certain days because I have duties on that day. What the hell. I have to waste precious time helping out athletes that I don't even know. ): Nevermind, I still can catch up with lessons the following day :P :D I hope so :D LOL. Just finished watching a documentary and it's called "CSI: Confidential". Interesting show, I must say. Tells you what happened after the 9/11 incident on September the 11th, 2001. The World Trade Centre collapsed due to Osama's attacks if you don't already know. :D

That's it :D My short and sweet post to sum it up :D Rather boring these few days :P Hope something with more entertainment value will happen xD :D Bye :D
